Just like Jesus and THE PIST, Murder and Mayhem has rez-erekted! Yep; Murder & Mayhem Is Risen! How could it not? You obviously loved the first issue of the zine, and surprisingly, you all are tone-deaf because I have heard compliments on the comp! I hope you meant it because in 7 days, 1 week, specifically on March 8th, the next project will drop like bombs over Gaza! The zine is full of punk. I mean poems, stories, games, shit-talking, prison art, and maybe even some pussy! The comp will feature awesome 90’s hardcore from well known assholes: BORN AGAINST and DROPDEAD, to old NCHC: REGURGISTATE and INEPT. Then new shit from the misanthropic, LONECREEP and of kourse, it will be spliced with your favorite Murder & Mayhem bands. Of course, some drunk asshole probably will slip some spoken turd on it as well. If you’re in Raleigh, look for it next weekend. if your punk enuff, start looking in your mailbox around the time you’re blowing up chunks of shamrocks and leprechaun jism. But if I don’t know who the fuck you are, PayPal me $1.50 for the zine and send your address. If you are some weird foreigner, email me and I’ll send you a pdf. The compilation will be $4 on cd and have 77 minutes of various punk noise; the cASSette is $6 ppd, and has 45 minutes of punk on the B side and the A-side will be filled with randumb A-Sides!!!!! If you don’t get the reference, you ain’t punk! Go away pozer!
To celebrate the release, I am giving you the pages from the first issue, Murder & Mayhem is Dead, containing the poem: “punk altitude.” To go along with the theme, watch the video of TSOL perform “Code Blue” in Asheville, NC on sept 23, 2023.
I am also attaching a link to an article from The Mountain XpressLINK HERe, as some of you think that the CIRCLE JERKS are cool, especially their BLACK FLAG reject, tubi-star singer. Truth is that Jerk keeps punks out of work. Commercial punk aint punk at all. And please, I'm not making fun of him for being old; CIRCLE JERKS haven't been good since 1984. If they had new material, I would sing a different tune, like I wish the cj's would.
You know who else is commercial punk? NOFX, but at least they were good in 1994; I hope not to see Fat Mike in a club in 20 years singing "linoleum." I would much rather see Fat Mike sing "Six Pack Girls" on Mykel Board's floor while Joanna Angel kicks him in los testiculos, all while, Board writes haikus, and I get high! That'll be punk, maybe we'll have that adventure in July, stay tuned...

The only thing I’m lacking, to make it great would be a haiku about…. So if anyone can send me a haiku; I will by them a beer or bedbug bomb. Fuck, it’s March 1st; let me go see what Mykel wrote about this month. Keep checking back for updates, random thoughts, and overflow from the zine. There will also be new YouTube videos and other fucking nonsense going on too!
Oi! This is the first blog post so we'll start with a brief intro. Murder & Mayhem started in '98 by Trey of Today and Dave of RegurgistAte. We put out five ep's: THE LOUTS Raleigh's Finest; THE DIRTY POLITICIANS "New Age"; Drunk's Not Dead compilation; PSYCHO 13 "I Bury The Living"; THE LOUTS / TWO-FISTED split.
More recently, I have teamed up with Jared of YAGE Records and made a zine with a compilation featuring those bands plus: INEPT; REGURGISTATE; BLOWNAPART BASTARDS; MOLD, and more.
The next issue and comp is planned for March, so if you are in a DIY band and think it would be cool to be on a 90's style cd-r, cassette comp, please get in touch! Same goes for writers!

The zine is free! If you want a physical copy get in touch with your address; I'll send you a zine. If you want a tape or cd, I will have to charge you $6.66, but you get the 20 song comp plus more and the tape gets the B side blank, 45 minutes of blank tape so y'all can record your own noises. The CD will have 77 minutes of punk fucking shit you that might be new 2 u so yeah. We can work out the details just hit me up!
