The Halloween Zine is done!

Murder & Mayhem’s Halloween Zine is complete! There’s art by the punk cartoonist Brian Walsby, a horror haiku by Mykel Board, and interviews with Andy from KIFF, Pollute., Geeked, and more mAyhEm! It was completed on Friday the 13th, but I didn’t get to distribute or do the accompanying blog post as I was too busy getting my balls busted and hearing about how much of a sissy I am, but next week, come to Panther Lake as the real og crust punx of Raleigh, throw a rave, with hope to attract our extra terrestrial allies to save us. I don’t know what the fuck I am going on about, but the sexy Samme, the marvelous milf, Miss Mayhem, and myself will be consuming fungi and dancing our sexy asses off. If it’s anything like the last one, it will be wild! So September 21st, join us at Panther Lake in Willow Spring to get fucked up and do fucked up shit. Also look out for more info as Murder & Mayhem is moving, so a mayhem fest must happen either at the Mayhem house or Panther Lake. So stay tuned for the official release of the Halloween Zine and be the first to get it in person next weekend at Panther Lake.

And here’s footage from the last Trance mission:

The links for the zine and comp will be posted by the time we escape this planet. Follow the links in the sidebar for the previous issues.

I DRINK A LOT! and give little fux

Hey, if you got some Mayhem in the mail, consider it a promo or first edition. Half of the promo cd's are wrong and the track that's all static is: "Sadlack's Heroes" by the LOUTS, so at least I only fucked up Murder & Mayhem's stuff and not anyone important. But, "Sadlck's Heroes" is a great song off The LOUTS / TWO FISTED split 7". It's dedicated to a bar named Sadlack's that was right by the COC house. Slayer Dug would just show up during the day and mosh to no music at all. It was great times; now it's skyscrapers. Fuck this place! Anyway download: THE LOUTS "Sadlacks Heroes" mp3 here on mediafire or you can stream it here: THE LOUTS on audiomack. I'll do you one better and give you the 7" for free art and all; download it here:

OK, the one other mistake was I had the wrong song from a band named: Bödel. Bödel are d-beat from Sweden; they told me that they picked up a copy of the zine. I don't know where the fuck they did that in Sweden, but I am glad that they did. Y'all will enjoy oi oi oi this banger! Please don't ask me how to say this or what it means but listen to: "Ett folkmord till frukost och en kopp kaffe tack"  download Ett folkmord till frukost och en kopp kaffe tack promo with mp3 and more here , or if you prefer: stream it here.

Bödel

DOWNLOAD THE SUMMER ZINE AND FEATURED SONGS HERE:

or stream the compilation here:

and download just the pdf of zine:

That's it, y'all! Check your mailboxes or look around Raleigh for the zine.

I found a list of shows in North Carolina, titled: “All Things Hard, Harsh & Heavy” compiled by: rstamey@hotmail.com

Whoever they are, they are awesome for doing this. I will definitely make some copies and make sure they are at Panther Lake, Sorry State Records, and whatever other bar or tattoo place I stumble into.

Murder & Mayhem Records Presents: The Punk Blog

Oi! This is the first blog post so we'll start with a brief intro. Murder & Mayhem started in '98 by Trey of Today and Dave of RegurgistAte. We put out five ep's: THE LOUTS Raleigh's Finest; THE DIRTY POLITICIANS "New Age"; Drunk's Not Dead compilation; PSYCHO 13 "I Bury The Living"; THE LOUTS / TWO-FISTED split.

More recently, I have teamed up with Jared of YAGE Records and made a zine with a compilation featuring those bands plus: INEPT; REGURGISTATE; BLOWNAPART BASTARDS; MOLD, and more.

The next issue and comp is planned for March, so if you are in a DIY band and think it would be cool to be on a 90's style cd-r, cassette comp, please get in touch! Same goes for writers!

Here's a commercial; The spokesperson is hot AF!

The zine is free! If you want a physical copy get in touch with your address; I'll send you a zine. If you want a tape or cd, I will have to charge you $6.66, but you get the 20 song comp plus more and the tape gets the B side blank, 45 minutes of  blank tape so y'all can record your own noises. The CD will have 77 minutes of punk fucking shit you that might be new 2 u so yeah. We can work out the details just hit me up!

All of the Murder & Mayhem Discography as well as much of Yage's is available to stream at https://audiomack.com/treyoftoday

Also checkout my favorite writer's blog, Mykel Board's post-MRR blog. If you haven't read him since Maximum RocknRoll, go see what he's complaining about lately.

Also check out Suburban Utopia Projects and THE UNCIVIL SOCIETY. They are doing very interesting DIY shit; weird! I like! There will be some on the next comp 4 sure. If y'all want to as well email me: TreyofToday@yahoo.com so we can spread subversion and create chaos everywhere.
