HAPPY FALL Y'ALL!
Halloween Zine Soundtrack
Here's Y'all's Treat
Murder & Mayhem's Halloween Zine is the treat the punks have been waiting all year for.
Are you like me and live to be a freak? Do you like to dress like a zombie slut, snort pixie sticks, get pissed drunk, and eat so much candy that Keith Morris has better blood sugar levels than you? Then you must check out the fourth issue of Murder & Mayhem! Usually, Mayhem is 4 punx only, but in the spirit of Samhain, even if you aren't as punk as puke, the zine is still fun! But, please don't think that I sold out like Jared 4skin did with his shitty book Going Down The Punk Rock Highway; the Trey of Today will never let THE LOUTS, be sold on walmart or amazon. The Mayhem Zine is always DIY! So, the Halloween Zine features punks from all genres, ages, and countries! There's interviews with Raleigh legends: punk rock cartoonist, and POLVO member, Brian Walsby! Brian drew a beautiful cover; Walsby's talented! Another longtime Raleigh fuck up, Andy, from KIFF gives us more evidence of his love for KISS. Then there's the young punks keeping alive the tradition COC started: Pollute. and Chapel Hill freaks GEEKED. There's mayhem from a metalhead of HELLWITCH. Poetry including a horror haiku from my master, Mykel Board. I'm glad that piece of shit contributed; can you believe Mykel Board hates Halloween? I mean just read his blog post on the subject. Last year I sent him some candy laced with rat poison and other tricks and treats. He had his scrooge epiphany and contributed a Horror Haiku. There's also the chaos and porn you expect from the brand that bought you DRUNK's NOT DEAD.

The Halloween Zine is done!
Murder & Mayhem’s Halloween Zine is complete! There’s art by the punk cartoonist Brian Walsby, a horror haiku by Mykel Board, and interviews with Andy from KIFF, Pollute., Geeked, and more mAyhEm! It was completed on Friday the 13th, but I didn’t get to distribute or do the accompanying blog post as I was too busy getting my balls busted and hearing about how much of a sissy I am, but next week, come to Panther Lake as the real og crust punx of Raleigh, throw a rave, with hope to attract our extra terrestrial allies to save us. I don’t know what the fuck I am going on about, but the sexy Samme, the marvelous milf, Miss Mayhem, and myself will be consuming fungi and dancing our sexy asses off. If it’s anything like the last one, it will be wild! So September 21st, join us at Panther Lake in Willow Spring to get fucked up and do fucked up shit. Also look out for more info as Murder & Mayhem is moving, so a mayhem fest must happen either at the Mayhem house or Panther Lake. So stay tuned for the official release of the Halloween Zine and be the first to get it in person next weekend at Panther Lake.
And here’s footage from the last Trance mission:
The links for the zine and comp will be posted by the time we escape this planet. Follow the links in the sidebar for the previous issues.

On Friday the Thirteenth, Murder & Mayhem will release its Halloween Zine; featuring interviews with: GEEKED, KIFF, POLLUTE., RIOT DIVISION, and more; plus an original horror haiku from Maximum Rocknroll’s MYKEL BOARD, and art from Brian Walsby. Of course it will also have the usual mayhem that y’all crave.
So in a bit over a week, check your mailboxes, go to Sorry State Records, or check out the remnants of PSYCHO 13, BLOOD RED RIVER play with KIFF at Chapel of Bones in Raleigh on Friday, September 13th.
Halloween Zine update
Yo you creepy fuckers,
Are y’all ready for a cliche haunted Halloween issue? To make it even spookier, I will try to have it out on Friday the 13th! We are also working on Murder & Mayhem hosts a Night of the Living Dead (stuff). Have the modern day Elvira, hmm, I meant Vampira, Rhiannon Revenge, and the primal Johnny Wylde, host Romero’s classic zombie flick. Knowing Johnny and Revenge, more the brains will be eaten and they will both blow more than your mind. See the zine and follow this blog for more info about the movie.
Are you in a horror punk band? Do you wanna be on the next compilation? Are you at least as good as PSYCHO 13? Then email me at TreyofToday@yahoo.com. Also, if any of you maniacs want to send me pics in costumes or spooky poems or scary stories; email TreyofToday@yahoo.com
Get in touch soon, and look for Mayhem on Friday, September 13. Speaking of PSYCHO 13, the remnants of them will be playing with Raleigh rockers, KIFF at Chapel of Bones in Raleigh, you old fucks might know the venue as The Maywood or Volume 11. Maybe I’ll be there with my “monkey paw.”
Enjoy PSYCHO 13’s I Bury The Living 7” ep on Audiomack for free here
Of course the next zine will feature your favorite clowns.
And if you are into kinky clowns, we can work your next adult party if you’re not afraid of clowns.

I DRINK A LOT! and give little fux
Hey, if you got some Mayhem in the mail, consider it a promo or first edition. Half of the promo cd's are wrong and the track that's all static is: "Sadlack's Heroes" by the LOUTS, so at least I only fucked up Murder & Mayhem's stuff and not anyone important. But, "Sadlck's Heroes" is a great song off The LOUTS / TWO FISTED split 7". It's dedicated to a bar named Sadlack's that was right by the COC house. Slayer Dug would just show up during the day and mosh to no music at all. It was great times; now it's skyscrapers. Fuck this place! Anyway download: THE LOUTS "Sadlacks Heroes" mp3 here on mediafire or you can stream it here: THE LOUTS on audiomack. I'll do you one better and give you the 7" for free art and all; download it here:

NC Show Listing
I found a list of shows in North Carolina, titled: “All Things Hard, Harsh & Heavy” compiled by: rstamey@hotmail.com
Whoever they are, they are awesome for doing this. I will definitely make some copies and make sure they are at Panther Lake, Sorry State Records, and whatever other bar or tattoo place I stumble into.
Happy 4/20! You Kunts!
I have been meaning to update this shit, but I have a life! I've been going to shows, playing bass, catching bass, eating ass, working, twerking, jerking, studying, and getting high! So 4give me and enjoy oi oi oi some videos of some shows that I went to recently. Read the next issue of Murder & Mayhem's Punk Zine 4 show reviews and shit talking! Look for it this summer until then, get high and listen to DAIKAIJU, my new favorite band, I saw them last week on my birthday, they were hella rad and so was NITE-NITE, whose bassist bought me a delicious shot of tequila and then produced a mickey's grenade.
my bud is flame, but on 4/15/2024 in Raleigh,You know who doesn't rock?
The CIRCLE JERKS
I hate K. Morris! But for an unbiased review of the show read Jeff's take in the Sorry State Records' Newsletter on April 8th, 2024, I agree, but for you nostalgic, commercial, and posers, here's some footage:
Unlike the Sorry State shit-workers, I was not comped tix to The ADOLESCENTS show; I had to go sell records to Sorry State, to afford to see Jeff's band, SCARECROW; he treated me honestly and fairly. So if you need some meth or money for a show check out Sorry State in downtown Raleigh; Jeff will treat you well. I will trade shitty POLICE records to see ABSOLUT and DESTRUCT anyday! THis is punk:
I will have to go to Sorry State in the next day or two to sell some MISFITS and CRASS so I can see SCARECROW again, with DELETAR!
So if you are in Raleigh on 4/22, go to KINGS! I will be there; say hello and I'll give you a zine, if you can't make it, please download the latest issue of Murder & Mayhem's Punk Zine Murder & Mayhem IS RISEN here or the MP3's for the compilation here IS RISEN compilation featuring BORN AGAINST, DROPDEAD, THE LOUTS, and more mp3's
and make sure to catch DELETAR on their US tour
Happy Spring Equinox! Murder & Mayhem Is Risen! Links to free downloads of zine and a special gift
Happy St Paddy's Day where would I be without Patty Punk?
In 1998, on my 21st birthday I saw THE DROPKICK MURPHY'S and went out and got a Guinness label with "Barroom Hero" written across it. 'twas new feelin', I do enjoy oi oi the DM's but like most good bands, their first album was the best Do or Die is fuckin' amazing, I just finished lissenin 2 it, and thought about about how the DMs were kick ass, but the shit they inspired was so overdone in the MySpace days; who remembers Flatfoot 56? They were fun! Silly as shit, but I just started hanging out with this hot-ass chick that I never thought was that hot, but after this show, and this picture of her, I knew I wanted that honey pot at the end of the rainbow.
So enuff thinking; it's saint patrick's day! Start Drinking!
The new zine is out MURDER & MAYHEM IS RISEN! You may have picked up one at a show this past weekend, please Enjoy oi oi oi it! I mailed out a bunch as well; if you're punk, check your mailbox! BUT if you haven't read the premier issue, Murder & Mayhem Is Dead. This is your lucky day, this fairy is giving you Murder & Mayhem Records' classic: DRUNK'S NOT DEAD featuring 4 songs about drinking, including: The Louts, Boot Militia, the Bad Preachers, and Die Strohsacke. So get drunk. stay punk, and always go after that Pot o' Gold (or honey).
Drunks Not Dead ep (mp3) Murder & Mayhem Is Dead Punk Zine (pdf) artwork of 7" includedNow, get drunk and put on some Pogues! Then write me a dirty limerick!
Do you hate my poems? Write your own then, motherfucker!
Murder & Mayhem Is Risen!
March Mayhem!
Happy Birthday! Mykel Board
Hoy es el 31 de enero de 2024. So I must say happy birthday to my favorite writer, Mykel Board. I just finished reading Even a Daughter Is Better Than Nothing; I was thoroughly entertained and rarely grossed out. Board is also an accomplished haiku-ist, but us old punks know him from "You're Wrong" back when MRR was a thing. If you miss his column, he has a blog that's pretty much the same shit: Mykel's BLOG.
He was the inaugural centerfold for Murder & Mayhem's Zine, but more than that he's a rockstar! I made a playlist of Board doing various things on utube, including singing for ARTLESS. Check it out my playlist for when ur Board
Buy his books here: thriftbooks-M.Board
I will meet Mykel this summer if the dark lord allows.
